Gutters do one job: carry rainwater off the roof and away from your foundation. When they sag, leak, overflow or pull away from the fascia, water ends up where it causes damage, from rotted fascia boards and stained siding to wet basements and eroded flower beds. Family Tree Roofing installs, replaces and repairs gutters and downspouts for homes across the Tulsa area.

Gutter services we provide
Seamless gutter installation
Seamless gutters are made to the length of each run on your home, so the only joints are at the corners and downspout outlets. Fewer joints mean fewer places to leak. We size the gutters and plan downspout locations around your roof area and where water needs to go.
Gutter replacement
Old sectional gutters with leaking seams, rust, or sagging runs are often better replaced than patched. Replacing gutters at the same time as a new roof lets the drip edge, fascia and gutters be fitted together properly.
Gutter repairs
We reseal leaking joints and end caps, re-hang loose or sagging sections, correct the slope so water flows to the downspouts, and replace damaged sections after storms or falling limbs.
Gutter guards
Gutter guards cover the gutter to keep leaves and debris out while letting water in. They reduce how often gutters need cleaning, especially under trees, though no guard removes maintenance entirely. We will talk through whether guards make sense for the trees around your home.
Downspout installation and replacement
Downspouts move all that water to the ground, so too few, too small or poorly placed downspouts cause overflowing gutters. We add or replace downspouts and extensions to direct water away from the foundation, walkways and driveways.
Signs your gutters need attention
- Water spilling over the edge during rain, even when the gutters are clean.
- Sagging sections, or gutters pulling away from the fascia.
- Drips or stains at seams and corners.
- Peeling paint, rot or stains on fascia boards and siding below the gutters.
- Puddles, erosion or a damp basement near the foundation.
- Dents or detached sections after hail or high wind.
Gutters and your roof
We believe in installing roofing systems, not just roofs, and the gutters are part of that system. Water that backs up behind gutters can rot the fascia and the edge of the roof decking, and damaged gutters are often a sign that the roof took a hit in the same storm. When we look at your gutters, we also check the drip edge, fascia and roof edge, and if a storm was involved, we can inspect the roof at the same visit.
When gutters are replaced along with a roof, the order matters: rotted fascia is repaired first so the gutters hang on sound wood, the drip edge is set to carry water into the gutter rather than behind it, and the new runs are pitched toward the downspouts. The roofing work gets the same property care as any of our roof jobs, with the Catch-All system protecting landscaping and the vulnerable areas around the house.

Gutter questions
Are seamless gutters better than sectional gutters?
Seamless gutters have far fewer joints, which are where most gutter leaks start. Sectional gutters can work, but their seams need more upkeep over time.
Do gutter guards mean I never have to clean my gutters?
No guard is maintenance-free. Guards keep most leaves and debris out, but some fine debris can collect on top or inside over time and may need occasional cleaning.
Can you replace gutters at the same time as my roof?
Yes. Doing both together lets us fit the drip edge, fascia and gutters properly and avoids disturbing new gutters later.
Will insurance cover hail-damaged gutters?
Gutter damage from a storm is sometimes part of a claim, depending on your policy, but your insurance company decides coverage. We photograph gutter damage along with the roof and include it in the documentation package you can give your insurer yourself. We do not file claims or interpret policies. See storm damage roof repair for how we document a storm.
