Family Tree Roofing is headquartered in Bixby, at 12808 S. Memorial Drive, Suite 120. When a storm moves through, our own neighbors are calling too, so we know how much a quick, honest answer matters. Most Bixby roofing projects start the same way: with a free roof inspection. Here is what that looks like.

Roofing in Bixby: what’s different

Bixby is our home — our office is at 12808 S. Memorial Drive, Suite 120, about a mile from the city center — so a Bixby inspection is usually the quickest one we do. The city straddles Tulsa and Wagoner counties and has grown fast (28,609 residents in the 2020 Census), which means a mix of newer subdivisions reaching their first roof replacement and older homes near Main Street and the river. Storms here are not theoretical: on June 17, 2023 the National Weather Service recorded 70-mph thunderstorm winds west of Bixby that “blew shingles off homes,” and on May 21, 2024 hen-egg-size (2-inch) hail fell just north of town. Bixby requires contractors to hold a City of Bixby contractor license; the city’s permit pages do not spell out a rule for shingle-only re-roofs, so we confirm the current requirement with the Building Division (918-366-0415) before work starts. A free inspection tells you whether your roof actually has storm damage — and we say so plainly when it does not.

What happens at a free roof inspection

  1. Pick a time. Request an inspection online or call 918-703-3735. Tell us what you have noticed: a leak, missing shingles, a recent storm, or simply an older roof.
  2. We look at the whole roof system, not just the shingles: flashing, pipe boots, vents, valleys, the roof edge and gutters. If you have had a leak, we also look at where it showed up inside.
  3. You see what we see. We photograph what we find, so you are not taking anyone’s word for it.
  4. Honest options. If a repair will do the job, we say so. If replacement makes more sense, we explain why and walk you through your choices and pricing, without pressure.

Family-owned since 2020

Family Tree Roofing is a family business in the literal sense. Brandon runs the company, and his father, Kevin, is our project manager. If your inspection leads to a repair or a new roof, Kevin is the one on site managing the crew, looking over the workmanship and taking photos as the job moves along. When two of our jobs overlap, he works with our project consultants so each one is still supervised.

Being based here also means giving back where we work. We sponsor high school and youth sports teams, and we provide free roof repairs, and in appropriate circumstances complete roof replacements, for people in need.

What we check on your roof

01

Shingles

Missing, creased or cracked shingles, heavy granule loss, and the bruising hail leaves behind.

02

Flashing

The metal at walls, chimneys and valleys, where many leaks begin when it loosens or rusts.

03

Pipe boots and vents

Rubber pipe collars crack with age and sun. A failed boot is one of the most common leak sources.

04

Roof deck

Soft spots or sagging that point to water damage in the wood under the shingles.

05

Ventilation

Intake and exhaust vents. An overheated, poorly ventilated attic shortens the life of a roof.

06

Gutters and drainage

Overflowing, loose or damaged gutters and downspouts that let water back up at the roof edge.

Frequently asked questions

Is the roof inspection really free?

Yes, free and with no obligation. You get the photos we take and a plain explanation of what they show, whether or not you hire us.

What should I have ready for the inspection?

Anything you have noticed helps: where a leak shows up and when, the approximate age of the roof, and any homeowners association rules for shingles. If you have had a storm claim on the roof before, have that paperwork handy too.

My neighborhood has an HOA. Can you work with its shingle rules?

Bring us your HOA’s shingle style and color requirements and we will build your options around them.

Can I schedule an inspection on a Sunday?

Family Tree Roofing offers Sunday roof inspections, repairs, and scheduling. When needed, we may also arrange emergency roof tarping or roof replacements on Sundays, depending on crew availability and the situation. Call 918-703-3735 to discuss your needs.
